One thing I find very confusing with this new show, Nurses. The show is filmed in Canada. They mention Canadian places. Yet, the health care system seems more American? Are they confused? Is this deliberate, or did the producers just not do their research.
I’ve also been watching 911-Lonestar and I find Liv Tyler’s character a little over the top. On last night’s episode, she was going on about not knowing something that I think most doctors would not be aware of. I didn’t know what she was talking about, and I’ve been an ER nurse for 16 years (And a pretty clever one at that, I like to think). “It’s my job to know this.” No, no it’s not actually.
Then there’s The Good Doctor. Won’t even touch that one. And Prodigal Son. FFS, if you are going to make a character that is a psychopath, keep them a psychopath. Don’t try to make them more relatable.
TV on Mondays is becoming very annoying.
